Francis X. Moroney

Founding Member

Frank Moroney has become Of Counsel to the Firm after 44 years as a solo practitioner. Frank has an active Trust and Estates practice, handling Estate administration, Will & Trust challenges, Guardianships, Kinship proceedings and Accountings. Further, he has an active Elder Law practice, and also has an active real estate and zoning practice.

Frank Moroney has been a member of the American Bar Association, where he served as chair of the solo practitioner Health Law Committee. In addition, Frank is currently an active member of the NYS Bar Association.

Frank has had a distinguished career in Government, having served as a Counsel to the New York State Senate for 23 years and he is the Former Chief Deputy Comptroller for Nassau County. He was formerly a member of the Adjunct Faculty of Long Island University C. W. Post where he taught Government Ethics and Bioethics in the Master’s program. Previously he taught Constitutional Law, Government and various College courses at New York Institute of Technology.

He is admitted to both the Federal Courts and State Courts. Frank is a graduate of St. John’s Prep, St. John’s University and St. John’s Law school. Frank is an active member of Our Lady of Hope Parish in Carle Place; Civic leader; and avid sportsman.
